Have you ever stopped at a place late at night because it was the only place open? Then discovered that place you found was not only better than expected but carved a niche in your list of places to go? I now have made it a point to stop any chance I get while driving through the Modesto area. Service is pretty fast. Lots of door dashers picking up orders while you wait. I love the vegetarian options. The guacamole and chips is a must!
Rico, rico!! Everything was delicious!! Tamale, enchilada, chilie relleno, carnitas burrito with warm green sauce, shredded taco - super flavorful Horchata was great too
Carna Asada Torta Supreme with Grilled Onions so delicious also excellent Orchatas plus I like the fact Maria's Taco Shop is open 24 hours so I visit this place frequently

I wish I remembered the name of the girl that helped us cuz she was super amazing, friendly, and funny. She also double-checked and made sure our slightly confusing order was correct and that things were marked. Also, even tho the salsa bar was obvious and out in the open, she pointed it out to us to make sure we knew it was available. Great food. Great service. Love love love this place.

It has been literally years maybe as much as 10 years I have not been into this establishment however the consistency and the quality or just as I remember it in fact the customer service is even better this time I want to thank you for keeping the memories alive and the food the same in fact I brought someone from LA and Bragged that your Food Was great!! Asada Fries with extra meat, Chorizo second choice. No tomatoes or lettuce and cilantro with onions. Ask for the chipotle sauce and shower them on that. Oh My Goodness!! Thank me later. The Service was great and the people there working had always received me very good. The ambiance it cool, it's a small place inside but it's cool temperature, they got also a patio and a few tables with umbrellas. Come try it out!!

I've been coming here for Years. The Food is Consistent. Always Great Flavors. Anything you can Dream of in Mexican Old School Comida. Tacos Burritos and on and on. They also Open up 24 Hours a Day. But Today I came for the Famous Menudo. Made Fresh Daily. This Place is Highly Recommended Come them a Visit. You won't Regret it. And the Menudo is Delicious. Big Bowls. Has Been Open Here for Over 30 Years
